John Larkin. Is the founder and chief soap maker at THE BLACK STUFF​.

John's  goal with this brand is to deliver a wonderful product - handmade natural soap - into the hands of as many people as possible. He lives in Ireland, and creates all his soaps here in a small Dublin workspace. He sell in Ireland but also in the UK & USA.

In Ireland, when they say the Black Stuff - they are referring to that wonderful black Irish stout - Guinness. It represents wholesomeness, honesty, hard work and heritage. All of these things, I wanted to mean something for this brand. This is why he named it The Black Stuff. 

He tends to just create scents he personally likes (they don't use any purchased fragrance oils - he creates all our own scent profiles by mixing essential oils), so they tend to veer masculine. Though his daughter made me make this lavender deodorant...
